Sleep & Recovery Quick Reference
Target: 7–9 hours nightly for adults. Consistency matters more than total hours.
Optimize: Keep your bedroom at 65–68°F, fully dark, and phone-free. Use the same sleep and wake time every day including weekends.
Wind down: Dim lights 60 minutes before bed. Cut caffeine by 2 PM. Avoid alcohol within 3 hours of sleep.
Recovery: Sleep is where muscle is built, hormones are balanced, immune cells proliferate, and the brain clears metabolic waste. Treat it accordingly.
